Facebook's Investors Are "PISSED" Today
An event staffer at today's first ever, lightly protested Facebook shareholders meeting has an important detail: the shareholders are out for blood. One of them yelled at Mark. Mark Zuckerberg.
People are PISSED, and not just about stock price. Apparently there's been a lot of discussion about corporate responsibility and the company's involvement with public policy — someone even floated the idea of creating a shareholders' committee on public policy to supplement the in-house one, apparently because people don't think they're doing a good job. The overwhelming vibe in the room right now is one of anger & disappointment. I bet Marky takes a Xanax for this kinda stuff. That's what it felt like.
This jibes with press reports of a feisty crowd:
Why should you make the decision? Facebook investor challenges Mark Zuckerberg. I can do it myself with 4-5 clicks. Wow, go girl!

What the hell is your forecast for revenue and income for the next year? one Facebook investor shouts from the audience at annual meeting.

At least Zuck was wearing his comfort top.
