Mark Cuban Celebrated His First Billion By Hitting Refresh While Naked
How does becoming a billionaire feel? For Mark Cuban, it was nothing short of primordial bliss.
Yahoo Finance's James Altucher interviewed Cuban for his podcast, pressing the Broadcast.com co-founder on which felt better: becoming a millionaire or a billionaire.
Cuban, laughing like an idiot, quickly answered "the billion, by far." Then he described the naked frenzy that took place when his startup went public.
The million was fun because it was a drinking million, right. It was, "On my god, I'm going to love this, my life has changed, but I got to keep on working because I haven't hit my goals yet, and there's so much more I want to do."
The billion was, "I can't fucking believe it." Literally, I was sitting in front of a computer, naked, hitting the refresh because we were close, waiting until my net worth hit that billion when the stock price got to a certain point, and then I kinda screamed and jumped around and then got dressed.
