PayPal Exec Goes on Twitter Spree Insulting Coworkers
I promise, your weekend isn't as bad as PayPal global strategist Rakesh Agrawal's—he just woke up and realized he tweeted all of this stuff about people he works with. Update: he's gone.
It all started with a trip to New Orleans for Jazz Fest, where no one ever does things they regret. But the difference between puking on Bourbon Street and this, is that puke gets washed away. It's unclear why Agrawal dragged Foursquare into it, but hey, jazz is powerful stuff:
Today, Agrawal says this was all just due to a software malfunction:
Last night I was using a new phone that I bought because I wanted to test experiences on android. Those messages were meant for a colleague

Note to self: don't test a new phone when sleep deprived after working your ass off for 20 hours a day while on vacation.

Rakesh: I suggest you write fewer Twitter "notes to self" and start writing more apology emails to Christina Smedley, who is your company's vice president of global communications.
Update: Well, yep.
Rakesh Agrawal is no longer with the company. Treat everyone with respect. No excuses. PayPal has zero tolerance.
