Apple and Google Face $9 B. Lawsuit for Conspiring to Suppress Wages
Nitasha Tiku · 01/15/14 12:10PMLate yesterday, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals "paved the way" for a class action lawsuit from tech workers against Apple, Google, Adobe, Intel, and Systems Inc. for "conspiring to drive down pay by not poaching each other's staff." Around 60,000 workers will be allowed to sue as a group and pursue "what the defendants said could exceed $9 billion of damages."

This time, it's a class action lawsuit filed in California accusing 23andMe of "falsely and misleadingly" advertising their $99 genetic tests. The complaint, which asks for at least $5 million, also says the tests are "not supported by any scientific evidence."
