Silicon Valley loves reviving the dead. Whether it's propping up publishing or resuscitating mobile app incubators, investors are hellbent pumping money into yesteryear's financial fiascos. And no where is that Culture of Resurrection quite as apparent as it is in the on-demand delivery market.

Your favorite disasters from the dotcom era have returned for another chance to grab what they can from the cash cube, while money is still floating around. First there was Kozmo.com and now Webvan.

When beloved dot com disaster Kozmo.com first teased a relaunch yesterday, we crossed our fingers that cofounders Joseph Park (now the CEO of Bluefly) and Yong Kang (who ended up at Lehman Brothers after Kozmo) were dusting off their grand piano to yell “IPO! IPO!” again. Sadly, no. But the domain’s new owners also hail from that era, albeit post-crash.

This is either a sickening hoax or a true sign of end times: Kozmo, up there with Pets.com as bobble-headed mascot of the Dot Com Implosion, is apparently returning from hell. Is this really happening?
