Even though the sexual harassment suit against Tinder has already been settled, the IAC-owned startup is still facing fallout from the HR nightmare. Justin Mateen, the Tinder CMO who allegedly called his former coworker and girlfriend a "whore," was quickly forced to resign. Now Forbes reports that Tinder founder Sean Rad has been driven out as CEO.

During the Forbes 30 Under 30 Summit—a gathering of "the world's brightest young game changers" and the middle-aged men who are obsessed with them—Tinder CEO Sean Rad announced that his dating app will start offering a paid premium option in early November.

Just two months after allegations of rampant sexism at Tinder—and a month after Tinder denied those allegations—the hookup app is settling out of court with Whitney Wolfe.

Venture capital firms have been sniffing around Tinder, the Los Angeles-based dating app, since at least last spring. But according to one Valleywag source, Benchmark's Matt Cohler may soon sign one of Silicon Valley's most coveted term sheets. (On Sand Hill Road, it seems, fast growth is forever, while sexual harassment and discrimination suits can disappear.)

Tinder is not really a startup. The tumult-filled dating company is owned by IAC, and answers to it like any subsidiary. So why is Tinder CEO Sean Rad telling the New York Times his app is "self-financed," among other nonsense?

Barry Diller, chairman of IAC, which owns Tinder, isn't sweating the sexual harassment suit. "We've been doing an internal investigation that is not yet complete, but so far has not given us any reason to believe that the CEO was engaged in any negative practices."

Tinder's sexual harassment lawsuit hasn't even gone to trial yet, but TechCrunch already thinks it's a bunch of bullshit. Earlier today, tech's favorite mouthpiece published an investigation into Whitney Wolfe's lawsuit that was highly sympathetic towards her former employer. An hour later, TechCrunch announced Tinder CEO Sean Rad would be speaking at their conference in September. Hmm.

The head of Tinder looks pretty bad this week, after a load of misogyny allegations and shameful texts went public. Now Sean Rad is defending the hookup app he co-founded, and says Whitney Wolfe, his accuser, is full of it.

Last fall, Sean Rad told Bloomberg Businessweek that he met his girlfriend of four months on Tinder, the same dating app where he serves as CEO. That young lady, who went unnamed, is 20-year-old Alexa Dell, the daughter of beleaguered billionaire Michael Dell. Alexa made headlines in 2012 when she turned up on Rich Kids of Instagram. Rad was 27-years-old as of September.

Tinder's callous approach to privacy is getting more brazen. Businessweek says a security flaw exposed the exact latitude and longitude of Tinder users for between 40 to 165 days, with no notice from the company.

Earlier this week, Tinder's director of marketing Whitney Wolfe posted an Instagram from NBCUniversal. "Mindy project cast rehearsing their lines for January's tinder episode," wrote Wolfe, followed by a series of weeping-with-laughter emojis.
