The last time we asked Tinder about its apparent brand-synergy-third-base-score with FOX, it clammed up. Now it's pretty obvious: Tinder users are being matched up with characters from "The Mindy Project," which means the speed dating app is the newest conquest of noxious native advertising.

Earlier this week, Tinder's director of marketing Whitney Wolfe posted an Instagram from NBCUniversal. "Mindy project cast rehearsing their lines for January's tinder episode," wrote Wolfe, followed by a series of weeping-with-laughter emojis.

It's pretty simple: if you're the guy behind a wildly popular dating app, you rely on the goodwill of strangers. If you rely on the goodwill of strangers, don't say racist things on Facebook.
