When Vinod Khosla isn't busy blocking access to beaches, he's dishing out billions to startups through his venture capital firm. But on a recent house-hunting adventure in San Francisco, Khosla realized the products he invests in are helping price the poor out of the Bay Area.

It's hard to believe Vinod Khosla can run a venture capital firm with more than $3 billion under management when his brain is full of holes. During an hour of testimony, the billionaire repeatedly said he couldn't recall closing off public access to a popular beach near his property on Half Moon Bay.

Months later, the battle to pry public beaches from the private, lawless control of venture capitalist Vinod Khosla continues. But San Francisco Magazine reports that even though Khosla still has the will (and money) to fight an eternal legal battle, he remains his only supporter:
