The information came to light because the paper was in talks to partner with Whisper. Now Buzzfeed, Whisper's first major media partnership, has been "temporarily" suspended for privacy concerns, according to Digiday. Whisper and its editor-in-chief Neetzan Zimmerman have vigorously denied the allegations.
