Twitter Co-Founder Unloading $3 Million SF Mansion
After four years in San Francisco's Noe Valley hood, one of Twitter's dads, Evan Williams, is moving on to something better, and presumably more expensive.
Williams and his wife will make about a half million dollar profit on the sale after what they paid in 2009. It might be sad to say goodbye to the "3-level fully-restored Victorian home with 4 bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms, separate guest house, private garden, and rooftop deck." But, as Trulia notes, Williams is probably cranky he hasn't been able to demolish something and build anew:
The Williams had originally planned to demolish another house they owned in the Parnassus Heights neighborhood of San Francisco and build a brand new home, but neighbors aggressively opposed the project and it’s fate is currently unknown.
Very Steve Jobs of you, very chic. In other news, people who didn't invent Twitter are still having trouble finding anywhere in San Francisco they can afford.
