The name Ben Grossman might sound familiar if you read it here, this October, after the Head of Global Operations for Twitter Media sent an infamously gross "joke" about loosing dogs on striking transit workers. Make that former Head of Global Operations for Twitter Media.

Multiple sources have told me Grossman's tweet was just a symptom of wider, endemic sexism and brutishness at work, mixed with constant underpeformance. So, even though Broadcast & Cable News, Grossman's former employer, says he's choosing to leave the company after a little over a year, that's just not true. Though it was a kind favor on their part!

Maybe BART is hiring?

It was copied and pasted onto his head. At this time a spokesperson commented that he is not believed to have head hair.

I'm surprised he was able to get such a nice quote from his (female) boss about his departure, particularly since he doesn't appear to be a very high level executive. Is this just standard practice, and are we just supposed to read between the lines that he was fired since he doesn't have another gig lined up?

As Twitter will soon be an arm of the Pax Libertaria government, it's only right that it follow the standard political procedure modus operandi for doofus departure. If you resign we won't fire you. It's an offer you can't refuse.

If they fire directly then they still have to pay benefits I think. If you resign you forfeit them.
