The scariest thing is that around the current campus there are PLENTY of coyotes. I stopped one night to take a picture with the thumbs up with my mom that was visiting from overseas and the biggest coyote I've ever seen trots by without paying too much attention to us (luckily). Somebody working late might get in trouble sooner or later.
At least there's plenty of trees for the birds and other animals. And hopefully wildflowers for bees and other pollinators.
Landscrapers in a park. I like the huge unfriendly road on the side. Does anybody still wonder why so many techies prefer to live in San Francisco? (and would probably work there as well if the option were available)
Just guessing here, but I think it's the bars. I live/work in the city (FiDi and SOMA) and every day after work (and every night) all the bars I pass are usually packed with tech-sorts. On Fridays, there are literally lines out the door of some of these places at 5:30. I tried to go to Novella when it opened - I'd walked by on my way home and it was empty and cooled cool - 30 minutes later, when my husband and I walked in, it was packed with the "afterwork tech crowd."
Here's a picture of the old design:
Looks like they added more green and changed the style of the walls/windows.
