These requests pertained to "both criminal and national security" matters. Facebook cooperated with 79% of these—the highest disclosure rate in the world other than Iceland and Hong Kong (which only requested one user apiece) and Albania. The sheer number of accounts the U.S. requested dwarfs the entire rest of the planet.
