I'd argue that eBay (as most people imagine eBay) isn't as diverse as this makes it appear. So eBay is the parent to companies like eBay enterprise, which is an eComm/mktg company. Are these more diverse child companies being included in the report? Point being that eBay enterprise doesn't really compare to a Yahoo/Twitter/Google/etc.
Why not? eBay Enterprise is primarily two things: websites and warehouses (pick/pack/ship). They have some marketing services but from an employee perspective, those two are probably the largest. And I don't think either of those skew female.
Once you dive into the technology roles it's essentially a carbon copy of the various other firms, though. =\
eBay is 24 percent Asian, it's leaders are 23 % Asian, and its tech workers are 55 percent Asian. Genuine question: where do these figures factor in the point you're making, or do you think they don't factor at all?
