Snapchat issued a statement about the security breach that exposed 4.6 million accounts. The company promised better privacy protection with the next update, but apparently brogramming means never having to say you're sorry.

What they didn't mention here was that in their previous blog post they said the find-by-phone bug was totally no big deal and only "theoretically" could someone try every number to, I don't know, find 4.6 million user account names tied to them.
